Choosing a portrait location is a very important part of your custom photography experience. You definitely want an environment that represents you and the individuals being photograph. Deciding what type pf scenery, really does reflect you and your love ones personality. Urban shoots, tend to be very very fun. Being able to adapt to different textures and colors can be somewhat exciting. You just have to make sure, to go with solid colors when deciding on an urban scene. Too many busy patterns can really clash with the background.

Botanical shoots, such as parks and open fields can create a very romantic atmosphere. Especially when shooting during the golden hour, 2 hours before sundown. In the open field the creativity is endless, I love it! One thing I do know is that Texas really has some beautiful sunsets and shooting in an open field really does help captures the beauty that Texas can give during this beautiful time.

Personally, I gravitate to outdoor, natural locations that offer scenic and simple beauty but yet I also love urban area that showcase a fun and bold statement. What ever it is that you choose, I will most certainly adapt. My goal is to make my clients comfortable in there portrait location as much as helping them choose what colors to wear. I’m all about using my experience and eye for perfection to make your photos something you will enjoy and cherish for a lifetime.
